How do we ensure that all products are always safe and compliant? We work directly with carefully selected manufacturers. They are selected after a detailed check by our local audit team. During such an inspection, we ensure, among other things:
- a high level of specialization in product manufacturing
- quality of the production process
- the quality and source of raw materials used
- whether the manufacturer actively cooperates with and applies quality control systems
- whether the manufacturer tests products thoroughly and according to standards after production
➕ Periodic quality audits
Screening is also followed by regular quality audits. This is handled by our local audit team. This team consists of local specialists with extensive knowledge of, among other things, (European) standards and laws and regulations.
What do we check?
During the quality audit, the team checks the manufacturer for the following points, among others:
- Competence (in product manufacturing)
- Document control, ISO standardization and other required certifications
- Working in accordance with established ISO procedures
- What raw material is used in production? Where does it come from?
- Traceability from final product to intermediate product and/or raw material
- Technical details in the production process: is the product manufactured correctly?
- Condition of machinery: are all machines in working order, what kind of maintenance is done and are calibrations done in a timely manner?
- Available test equipment and standard tests
- In-house test lab equipment, including machine controls and testing methods
- Description of processes and their compliance with practice
